Three years after Gossip Girl finale, Chace Crawford, aka Nate Archibald, is making his awaited return on the small screen in the pilot of the new ABC‘s drama series Boom.

Set in North Dakota, the series tells the story about the biggest oil discovery in American History, which caused a black gold rush.

The 29 years old actor will be the handsome and ambitious Billy, who, along with his wife Kelly, head for the oil field seeking their fortune.

In the cast also Don Johnson (Miami Vice), Delroy Lindo (Anarchy), Scott Michael Foster (Once Upon a Time), Rebecca Rittenhouse (Red Band Society) and India De Beaufort (PD’s).

Chace Crawford has also three movies coming out soon: Eloise, Undrafted alongside to Aaron Tveit and a movie by Warren Beatty, as yet untitled, about legendary business magnate  Howard Hughes (Warren Beatty himself) about his later years when he fell in love with a much younger actress played by Lily Collins.
