It’s finally complete the cast for Netflix second season of Medici: Masters of Florence.
The last acquisition is British talent Bradley James (Merlin’s King Arthur, Damien, iZombie) who will join Nicholas Meyer and Frank Spotnitz-created Italian period drama as Giuliano de Medici, Lorenzo the Magnificent (Londoner Daniel Sharman, The Originals, Teen Wolf)’s brother.
The international cast includes: Julian Sands (Gotham) as Piero de Medici, Lorenzo and Giuliano’s father; Sarah Parish (The Pillars of the Earth) as their mother and Alessandra Mastronardi (To Rome with Love) as Lorenzo mistress; Raul Bova (Alien vs Predator) as Pope Sixtus IV; Sebastian de Souza (The Borgias) as Florence painter Sandro Botticelli; Sean Bean (Game of Thrones) as Jacopo de’ Pazzi and Italian rising star Matteo Martari as his brother Francesco.
Eight-episode series gets underway in Rome on August 24th.
