iZombie ready to hit the screen with an unusual dark-haired Bradley James

From Veronica Mars brains Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggero (and if already know the story you know is indeed the case to call them so) the new TV series signed CW, iZombie is ready to premiere on Tuesday, March 17th, just after The Flash.

In the cast, alongside Merlin‘s English star Bradley James, also the One Tree Hill former actor Robert Buckley (aka Clayton Atwood) and The Vampire Diaries not so sweet uncle John, David Anders.

Olivia “Liv” Moore (Rose McIver) is a model student at the college of medicine in Seattle.During a party, she is the victim of a zombies attack and she sees herself turned into a living dead. Determined to remain as human as possible, behind a style goth, Liv tries to keep her life as a student and, to curb her zombies appetite, she takes a position to a forensic medical center. By eating the brains of cadavers with no identity, Olivia discovers that she takes possession of their memories (at least until the next meal) and decides to use this ability to be helpful. Pretending to be a psychic, she began helping the detective Babineaux with these unsolved cases, eventually giving way to her new condition.

The series is an adaptation of the comic book written by Chris Roberson and Michael Allred published from 2010 to 2012 by Vertigo. Unlike the latter, which provides different types of monsters, the television series will follow the resolution of a case a week.

iZombie was filmed near Vancouver and includes 13 episodes, is premiering tonight in Austin and it will be aired from Tuesday, March 17th
