Shoot began in September in Australia for Oz-Uk drama Dirt Music.
Adapted from Tim Winton‘s novel by Jack Thorne, the movie is directed by Gregor Jordan (Ian Thorpe: The Swimmer, Buffalo Soldier).
Dirt Music tells the story of the illegal romance between the fragile Georgie (Kelly Macdonald, Goodbye Christopher Robin, Anna Karenina, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2) and a mysterious young poacher, Luther Fox (Garrett Hedlund, Mudbound, Tron: Legacy, On the Road, Mosaic, Four Brothers).
Set in a tightly-knit fishing community, Dirt Music stars also David Wenham (Lord Of The Rings, 300, Lion) as Jim.
Dirt Music is shot in Esperance and Perth by Sydney-based production company Aquarius Film.
