From the book by Danny Lyon, Jodie Comer (Killing Eve), Austin Butler (Elvis, The Shannara Chronicles, The Carrie Diaries, Dune: Part II), and Tom Hardy (Dunkirk, Venom) are set to star in the new project by Mud director Jeff Nichols, The Bikeriders.

Based on the book by the same name, The Bikeriders is a period drama set in the 60s but while the 1967 book follows a group of motorcyclists photographed throughout Chicago; Jeff Nichols’ movie is going to tell the rise of a fictional, midwestern motorcycle club through the lives of its members over the course of a decade focusing on its transformation from a gathering place for local outsiders into a baleful gang.

The film will begin production in Cincinnati, Ohio this October.
