We saw Milo Ventimiglia as the troubles maker Jess in the television series of the early 2000s: Gilmore Girls.

He subsequently kidnapped us in the series Heroes where he played (and will play in the new project, read the news here, Peter Petrelli).

Now Ventimiglia and Revenge’s Barry Sloane have been cast as leads in the pilot for the ABC invisible alien drama pilot The Visitors, from Steven Spielberg‘s Amblin TV.

In The Visitors, Ventimiglia will play John Doe/Drew, who is covered in strange tattoos and diagrams and speaks in a strange language.

Barry Sloane will play Wes. He used to be with the Special Projects Division of the Defense department. Now he’s investigating military threats on the downlow for the FBI.

Ventimiglia is best known on the big screen for his part in Wolverine and as Sylvester Stallone‘s son in the last Rocky.

He will next be seen in Grace of Monaco (here the trailer) and the remake of Heat.

Ventimiglia also stars on the Crackle series Chosen alongside former One Tree Hill and Gilmore Girls star Chad Michael Murray.
