Legacies is the CW’s new spinoff of The Originals, sired to The Vampire Diaries by Julie Plec…so, you know you won’t be disappointed.
Salvatore‘s mansion is now a school opened by Caroline Forbes in memory of her beloved husband Stefan Salvatore.

A Hogwarts for werewolves, witches, vampires and other unique creatures like the special hybrid, actually a tri-brid, Hope (Klaus Mikaelson‘s daughter) played by Danielle Rose Russell; and a very special creature we can’t say anything about…’cause it’s a too good twist to spoil it here.

The Salvatore School headmaster is no less than the former history teacher Alaric Saltzman (Matt Davis). The main characters are Alaric’s daughters Josie (Kaylee Bryant) and Lizzy (Jenny Boyd), Hope Mikaelson, Rafael (Peyton Alex Smith), Landon (Aria Shahghasemi), M.G. (Quincy Fouse) and Penelope (Lulu Antariksa).

Legacies is set two years after the last episode of The Originals.

If TVD and TO pilots have a very definite hook; Legacies doesn’t focus on something specific. But if you are a newer and words like hybrid, compelling, merger, … are non-sense for you, no worries… you’ll be able to figure out all you need to not feel lost… plus, as always, Plec will give you an Easter Egg here and there.
