Time to switch off the light on the 57th Monte-Carlo Television Festival. In a sparkling closing ceremony at the Grimaldi Forum, Monte-Carlo Television Honorary President HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco presented a prestigious Crystal Nymph to British Dame Helen Mirren.
Another great year for British television.
In the Long Fiction Program Robbie Coltrane takes home the award as Outstanding Actor for National Treasure. Fleabag wins in the TV series category as Best Comedy Tv Series while Phobe Waller-Bridge is awarded as Outstanding Actress. Jenna Coleman and ITV series Victoria are awarded as Outstanding Actress and Best Drama TV Series.
Awarded also the British journalism in the category News where Hardcash Production wins the Jury Grand Prize for Saudi Arabia Uncovered.
The lights are off, the good-byes have been said and the sea is starting its lullaby…till next year, for another marvellous year of television.
