Liar is the new psycho-sexual ITV show with the purpose to leave you lying awake in bed all night wondering which is the truth.
Starring BIFA and Golden Globe winner Joanne Froggatt (Dowton Abbey, Mary Shelley) as main character Laura and Ioan Gruffledd (Titanic, King Arthur, Fantastic Four Saga) as Dr Andrew Earlham
Written by The Missing‘s screenwriters Jack and Harry Williams, Liar first episode tonight is going to show us Laura and Andrew enjoying a pleasant date in a restaurant…but having the next morning two different stories about what happened the night before: Andrew insists they had consensual sex while Laura is convinced that he raped her and reports him to the police. To make the situation more complicated we have a relationship-web gathering the two main characters: Andrew works with Laura‘s sister Kelly at the hospital; Kelly who is married, is sleeping with Laura‘s ex who happens to work with the police.
WHO IS LYING?
We had the honor to be introduced to this so far intriguing series during the 57th Monte-Carlo Television Festival in June. Listen to Jack and Harry Williams live press conference here on our Facebook page (part 1 and part 2).
