In 13 Reasons Why season 2, we’ll explore how the supporting characters are dealing with the aftermath of what happened to Hannah.
But as center, we’ll have also Jessica‘s sexual assaults we saw in broad terms in season 1. An idea born long before Harvey Weinstein news and the #MeToo movement. Here the cases will be connected to one of the athletic teams at the High School, at the center also of season 1.
Others 13 episodes shot between February and June 2017.
Replacing Hannah‘s tapes we’ll have Polaroid photos as key to the new episodes.
The season 1 cast will return with new addictions: Anne Winters as Chloe, the new head cheerleader and it girl; Ben Lawson as Rick, the baseball coach; Bryce Cass will play Cyrus and Chelsea Alden will play his sister Mackenzie; Samantha Logan will play Nina, a track star with a huge secret; Tony-Award Winner Kelli O’Hara will play Jackie, an advocate for victims of bullying and Allison Miller as Sonya, an ambitious lawyer.
13 Reasons Why season 2 is coming on Netflix on May 18th
