After a very rough year, things finally seem to be moving in the right direction for former Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick. He will not only play again the part of Vincent Swan in the second season of White Gold; but he will be soon on the screen with two new movies.
Luise Linton, the wife of Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, announced at the Sundance Film Festival that she’s writing, directing and producing a dark comedy called Me, You, Madness. The movie tells the story of a young thief, played by Ed Westwick , who discovers he’s robbing the home of a serial killer. The director began shooting the film in November between downtown Los Angeles and Malibu and says she intends to complete production in March.
At the same time, Ed Westwick was also in Minsk on the set of a British movie set during the Second World War, working title could be Enemy Lines and stars also John Hannah (who worked with Ed in Bone in the Throat in 2015), Tom Wisdom (who worked with Ed in Romeo & Juliet as Count Paris in 2013) and Corey Johnson (The Alienist, A Private War).
Ed Westick will be in Paris for a fan-meet on March 23rd and in Italy, in Milan Assago on April 27th for the Fan Vibes Convention.
We wish all the best to this great actor and wonderful soul.
